DE&I: Fostering Connection Among Your Hybrid Workforce
Overview
If the past few years have taught us anything, it’s that the long-standing but antiquated standard of working in an office every day from 9 to 5 has gone by the wayside. Research from Owl Labs found that remote and hybrid employees were 22% happier than workers in an onsite office environment and stayed in their jobs longer. However, this new model also presents new challenges for organizations of all sizes. How can practitioners replace the natural, tangible experience of sharing an office day-to-day with their colleagues? Do you have programs in place to foster connection, a sense of belonging, and ultimately increase job satisfaction? Are you proactively creating an environment that feels inclusive to your remote workers? How do you address the needs of diverse and underrepresented employees? The speaker in this session will share a unique perspective on how to intentionally and deliberately find ways to ensure that colleagues feel included no matter their location – virtual, in person, or a combination of both.
