Biography

Stacy is a leader for Commercial Payments Product Management including ACH, Wires, Trade Services, and Fraud Control related products. Her primary focus is on electronic payments. She drives the vision, strategy, and positioning for electronic payments, primarily for ACH. She delivers the resulting solutions and serves as a subject matter expert.

Stacy joined Webster Bank in 2010 in the treasury management team as a Product Analyst. In 2013, she was certified as an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP). She has managed a variety of payments products for the past decade, including serving over 10 years as ACH product manager. She rolled out Same Day ACH Origination from inception to completion and launched it on the first day that the solution was available to the network. In addition to her focus on product development, she has worked on many risk initiatives at Webster, including improvements to ACH limit management and a Third Party Sender certification process. Additionally, she served as a leader for ACH and electronic payments for an online banking conversion and a full bank systems conversion.

Stacy graduated from Bryant University with a B.S. in Business Administration and concentrations in Management and Marketing.

How is the nominee propelling the industry forward?

Stacy has become visible in the industry as an ACH expert, speaking at NEACH and Nacha events. She is an active member of the Payments Innovation Alliance and was recently elected to the Risk, Security, Regulatory Advisory Committee. She participated in the creation of the Faster Payments Playbook for FIs.

She taught a class on Third Party Senders at The Payments Institute (TPI) and served on the Board of Regents. She currently serves on the AAP Blue Ribbon Panel as chairperson.

Where do you see the nominee succeeding in the future?

Stacy has proven successful in payments product and risk management, with expertise spanning multiple electronic payment channels. She is excited to work with instant payments, leveraging her lessons learned from industry workgroups and ongoing participation with Nacha and NEACH, which has been a valuable resource for our organization. Stacy's passion for payments and her expertise make her an exemplary candidate for Nacha's 15 under 40. While the future is uncertain, Stacy will continue to be a strong advocate for the ACH network and payments. She will approach it with greatness, and the industry will benefit from her contributions.
