Biography

Maggie is a passionate payments professional and experienced treasury operations manager who is focused on providing a top-quality customer experience while empowering and supporting her teams. She is responsible for the daily operations of the bank's payment and treasury support teams, the development of payments strategy and risk mitigation processes, and management of the electronic service offering for retail and corporate users. She maintains the AAP and APRP accreditations and is currently pursuing the AFPP. Maggie recognizes the power of collaboration and shares her knowledge through volunteerism; she is active in her payments association, volunteers with her core provider's regional user group and serves on the bank’s financial literacy committee. In these roles, she works within larger committees to design engaging agendas and often contributes as a presenter.

How is the nominee propelling the industry forward?

Maggie has found her passion in volunteering and connecting with others in the industry. She goes above and beyond in her professional role leaning into industry volunteer positions as path to growth for herself and others. Maggie has served in multiple roles at The Clearing House Payments Authority’s Alliances including leading the AAP Alliance Committee, the Sub-committee for Rules Changes she was recently appointed as the Chair of the newly established TCHPA Payments Alliance committee. This committee aims to unite AAPs, APRPs, and soon, AFPPs to network and collaborate on various aspects of payments, including risk, rules, strategy, and compliance. Maggie is a payments champion and shares her professional journey, encouraging others to engage, be educated and consider payments accreditations as a path to professional growth. Maggie is committed to continuous learning and empowering others to do the same.

Where do you see the nominee succeeding in the future?

Maggie is self-motivated and has developed a deep understanding of the different payment rails, staying updated on rule changes and she shares this knowledge with others in her committee positions. Maggie has shared with me that she is looking for opportunity to contribute to advancement of community banking at the industry level, to share what she has learned to propel payments forward.
