Chad Frank is EVP of Risk and Compliance and manages a staff of 13. He also has been responsible for Finances and IT. Chad also is active on the Rules and Operations and Risk Management Advisory Committees for Nacha. He also participates with the ASAE management program. He speaks at Payment Association conferences and the Nacha conferences. Chad's versatile background from Director of Operations to Internal Auditor at SmartBank/Cornerstone Community Bank, reflects leadership in developing treasury management services, overseeing ACH processing, and managing internal controls. His commitment to excellence, dedication to professional development, and innovative controls make Chad a perfect candidate for this award.
How is the nominee propelling the industry forward?
Chad has been instrumental in developing and enhancing PaymentsFirst Automated Risk Tool (ART), a proprietary software for performing payments audits and risk reviews. Chad serves as its innovator and product manager, positioning ART as a state-of-the-art and unique tool which is also utilized by other Payment Associations. Chad is also overseeing an internship program in collaboration with a community college in Tennessee to build a human resource pathway to payment risk and compliance showing his dedication to shaping the future of industry professionals. PaymentsFirst currently has hired a student intern.
Where do you see the nominee succeeding in the future?
Chad is a leader in payments. In today's environment you have to consistently innovate, learn and develop new technology and provide leadership to others. Chad excels in this environment. He is open to new ideas and works exceptionally with others. Chad could be CEO and President of a Payment Association. He values members and is willing to assist wherever needed.
