The Legal and Compliance Landscape of Stablecoins

Speakers in this session ask and examine the legal and regulatory compliance questions that will arise due to the new authority given to financial institutions to issue stablecoins and provide payment services using stablecoins. This session will address issues with vendor engagement and use, customer services and related documentation, regulatory compliance issues, and questions on laws governing the transactions facilitated by the stablecoin products and services. The speakers will address managing the legal issues presented by anticipated services, and how to best protect the financial institution when working with vendors and clients.
