This session explores key lessons learned from 15 years of European experience from the adoption of ISO 20022 from the beginnings of SEPA through to today’s SEPA Instant, SWIFT CBPR+ Go Live and the Nordic P27 roll out, sharing the relevance to changes in North America for such schemes as CBPR+, Real-Time Payments, FedNow, FedWire, and RTR. All while detecting and disrupting greater amounts of financial crime. Speakers share close-to-the-bone anecdotes and warn of specific pitfalls to avoid as the changes reach the U.S. in a lively and interactive panel discussion focusing on what FIs might offer their customers so that this change benefits them as well as the FI.
