The Minority Depository Institution Program is a program launched under the Federal Deposit Insurance Company (FDIC). Goals of this program include preserving, promoting, and building capacity of MDIs for the benefit of low- and moderate-income communities. This session features Minority Depository Institutions (“MDI”) leaders and how they are focused on driving change in the banking industry. Speakers discuss supporting minority owned business, capital generation, and closing the racial wealth gap.
