Historically, banks have worked closely with Treasury and AP/AR departments to develop solutions aimed at driving process and cost efficiencies. Treasury and AP/AR organizations have played a key role in helping the business chart the best course of action when adopting digital payments to meet the demands of customers and global growth objectives.  However, the lasting impact from the pandemic paired with technology advancements are causing business models to evolve across industries, with many companies embracing a direct-to-consumer strategy.  The growing intersection between Treasury and Ecommerce/Commercial teams means that companies are now looking to their banking providers to deliver both traditional treasury services and digital solutions to help drive sales enablement, with superior client experience as a core requirement.  During this session, we’ll discuss trends across various industries and how banks are working to deliver the scale, frictionless experience and payment ubiquity required to help their clients compete and succeed in today’s evolving landscape.
